Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Justice Antonin Scalia, and what he wrote during an opinion on a case that the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on regarding the death penalty:

"The American people have determined that the good to be derived from capital punishment — in deterrence, and perhaps most of all in the meting out of condign justice for horrible crimes — outweighs the risk of error."

"GOOD" to be derived from capital puinishment??

"OUTWEIGHS" the risk of error??
